Hire a dedicated developer
who owns the outcome.

Not a freelancer juggling five clients. Not an agency bench that rotates. A dedicated senior engineer — full-time on your work, talking to you directly, staying for years. 70% of your budget goes to them. That's why they stay.

The Definition

Most “dedicated developers” aren't.
Here's what the word means at Core70.

The phrase gets used loosely across the industry. We mean three specific, verifiable things.

Full-time, and only yours

Your dedicated developer is a full-time employee working exclusively on your project — not a contractor splitting attention across clients, not a shared resource pulled off your work when a bigger account calls.

Senior, and you choose them

You interview your developer before anything starts. If they're not right, you don't proceed. We only staff senior engineers — no juniors billed at senior rates, no bait-and-switch after the sales call.

They stay

In most agencies, the developer who finally understands your business gets rotated onto the next project. Ours earn 70% of what you pay — the strongest retention mechanism in the industry. The person who learns your business keeps building it, year after year.

The Model

Know exactly where your money goes.

70%

Your Developer

Senior engineers who own your codebase and stay on it for years — AI-native in how they work, not AI-assisted as an excuse. They don't just close tickets; they own the outcome.

10%

Account Owner

Your dedicated relationship manager. Not a middleman — a business operator with full authority to make decisions on your behalf.

20%

Platform

Recruitment, onboarding, compliance, HR, infrastructure. Everything that keeps the engagement running smoothly — handled for you.

Why Core70

A dedicated developer
vs. the alternatives.

Freelancers juggle clients. Agencies rotate their bench and hide the cost breakdown behind blended rates. A Core70 dedicated developer is structurally different — every penny goes on the record.

Freelancers & Agency Teams Core70 Dedicated Developer
Where your money goes 50%+ absorbed by sales staff, office leases, and management margins 70% goes directly to your senior developer — the person actually writing the code
Talent quality Juniors assigned to keep costs down; you rarely get to choose Senior engineers only — each one understanding your business and owning the outcome, not just following tickets
Communication Filtered through a project manager — context lost at every handoff Talk to your developer directly, as if they sat in your office
Pricing transparency "Blended rate" bundles — you never know the real cost breakdown Fully transparent: 70% to the developer writing your code, 10/20 to account owner and platform — no hidden margins, no kickbacks
Retention & stability High developer turnover; handover risk on every rotation Developers earn the lion's share — they stay, they care, and your project keeps its momentum
Commitment Freelancers and contractors juggling multiple clients — your project is one of many Full-time employees — dedicated to your project, managed and supported by our platform
Continuity Developers rotate off when the project ends — the one who learned your business is gone The same engineer stays: the person who learns your business is the one who builds it — for years, not one project. Client relationships run 5–18 years

Two things matter most if you've outsourced before. First, we don't vanish: our engineers stay for years — the person who learns your business is still there next year, and the one after. Second, the time difference — from the UK and Europe you get several hours of live overlap every working morning for real-time conversations, with the rest handled asynchronously so progress never stops.

Every one of these started small.

Not one began as a big contract — each started as a single engineer on a first project, and grew over years. The model rewards clients who start small and stay long.

"Shinetech UK has done an exceptional job of developing Interactive PDF for Barts Health NHS Trust. iPDF was delivered on time and on budget within 6 months. Barts Health NHS Trust has no hesitation in recommending Shinetech to the NHS."

Jo Kobyluch
Associate Director, Barts Health NHS Trust

"What keeps us coming back is their ability to deliver high-quality development, hassle-free communications and excellence in problem solving. We consider them the professional outsourcing partner for our development needs."

Questions

Before you hire a dedicated developer

Can I interview the dedicated developer before committing?

Yes — always. You meet the engineer, review their background, and talk through your project before any agreement. If you'd rather trial them on a small piece of real work first, that's exactly what Start Small is for.

How fast can a dedicated developer start?

Typically within one to two weeks of the discovery call, depending on your stack. The engineer you interview is the engineer who starts.

What about time zones?

Our engineers are based in Asia. From the UK and Europe you get several hours of live overlap every working morning for real-time conversations, with the rest handled asynchronously — so progress never stops overnight.

What if it doesn't work out?

Tell us. Replacing a developer is rare — our annual turnover is 5% against an industry norm above 20% — but if the match is wrong, we fix it, and your account owner handles the transition without you re-explaining your business from zero.

Can I hire a dedicated development team, not just one developer?

Yes. Many clients grow from one dedicated developer into a dedicated development team of 3–6 engineers around the same core person. The team grows; the knowledge stays.

Before you get in touch

Is this the right fit?

If what you want is a single fixed number, delivered once, with no intention of building a longer relationship — a fixed price can give you that, and there are firms who do it well. We're probably not the one. That's genuinely okay.

But if you're open to starting small and seeing how we actually work — an engineer who talks to you directly, owns the outcome, and tells you the truth about your software — then we'll earn your trust the only way it can be earned. With real work.

That's the whole idea. Trust isn't promised in a contract. It's built, one project at a time.

Get Started

Ready to meet your dedicated developer?

Tell us what you're working on. A 30-minute call is all it takes — no decks, no hard sell. We'll match you with the right engineer, you interview them, and most engagements start small — a fixed-price first project, scoped with you.

What happens next

A 30-minute discovery call with our team. We'll discuss your project, share relevant case studies, and you decide if we're a fit. No follow-up sales sequence.
